MyNutriPlanner
A nutrition and meal-planning app designed to make healthy eating and weekly planning simpler and more manageable. The idea: structure without unnecessary restriction.

The spark
- The idea started in 2022.
- Weekly meal planning creates a surprising amount of decision fatigue: what to cook, what to buy, whether it fits your goals.
- Most nutrition apps lean hard on restriction and streaks. I wanted something that offers structure and then gets out of the way.
Structure without unnecessary restriction. The goal isn't a stricter diet — it's fewer daily decisions about food, so healthy eating takes less willpower.
What I built
- A mobile app that connects planning a week of meals with logging what you actually ate and seeing the nutrition behind it.
- Several ways to log food — barcode scanning, manual entry, reading nutrition labels, or re-using saved meals — so logging fits the moment.

The journey
- IdeaDone
The idea
Meal planning should reduce decisions, not add rules. MyNutriPlanner was born.
- No-code build #1Didn't work out
First build attempt: hired an Adalo developer
I hired a developer to build the app in Adalo, a no-code platform. It didn't work out.
- No-code build #2Didn't work out
Second build attempt: another Adalo developer
A second hired developer picked it up, again in Adalo. That one didn't work out either.
- HiatusPaused
On the shelf
With two failed builds behind it, the project went on hiatus.
- RestartDone
Back to building
Picked the project back up in October 2025.

Live
MyNutriPlanner is live.
- GrowthIn progress
Marketing & growth
Getting it in front of the people it was built for — and seeing what sticks.
Challenges & lessons
What got hard
- Getting it built at all. Two developers were hired, one after another, to build it in Adalo — and neither build made it to the finish line. The project then sat on the shelf until October 2025.
