This is a sample post. It isn't a real update — it exists to show what a journal entry looks like. Delete
src/content/journal/sample-how-this-journal-works.mdxonce real posts exist.
Journal posts are plain MDX files: Markdown with the option of dropping in a few components. Each one lives in src/content/journal/ and the file name becomes its URL.
What a post can include
- A title, description, category and tags in the frontmatter at the top of the file
- A publication
date(real posts only) - An optional cover image and a related project
- Regular Markdown: headings, lists, links, bold,
codeand quotes
Media
Embed a YouTube video with <YouTube id="VIDEO_ID" title="…" /> — it loads as a lightweight thumbnail and only becomes a player when someone clicks it.
Images use <Figure src="/images/…" alt="…" caption="…" /> and are optimized automatically.
Code
// Code blocks are styled too
const result = await tryIdea("multiplayer card game");
That's it. Write, commit, push — Vercel rebuilds the site.
